The United States Marine Corps celebrated its 250th birthday at City Park on Dec. 9, culminating in the first time officials have brought the cake cutting to a public space.

As we wrap up 2025 Josh Stein is finishing his first year as North Carolina’s Governor. Governor Stein said that while this first year has been productive, there were also some challenges.
