Isn't it funny that people are not willing to break their Christmas routine (or tradition as they put it) but it's unacceptable for our neurodivergent children to stick to their routine? Remember, Christmas is just a day and it's supposed to be about the kids - so if the kids want nuggets, want to play their tablets or not open presents then let's stop forcing everybody else's wishes on them. It's funny because I have always wondered why I struggled in precious jobs. I would have a lot of sick days and skip from one job to the next.
