Lots of people know about the Airport Vortex but most people miss driving the rest of the way up on this short scenic road. At the top, you’ll find parking for the Airport Mesa viewpoint which overlooks West Sedona, chimney rock, and Thunder Mountain. It’s a great last minute sunset spot if you’re short on time while in Sedona. Cost to park is $3 per day per vehicle. You can also jump on airport loop trail from there if you’re up for a flat scenic hike with a birds eye view of most of Sedona! #s
