The gyrocopter has one of the most complex takeoff procedures among aircraft. 1. Switch to flight mode.   2. Engage the pre-rotator at around 2000 engine RPM (do not exceed 2000 RPM) and spin up the rotor to 100 RPM.    3. Increase engine RPM to 3000 and continue pre-rotation until the rotor reaches 220 RPM.    4.
