Earlier this month, a nearly 13-foot-tall bronze statue dedicated to the tribal law enforcement agencies of The Five Civilized Tribes of Oklahoma arrived at the U.S. Marshals Museum in Fort Smith, Arkansas. A Lighthorse was a native lawman with the five tribes that worked closely with the U.S. Marshals to protect and serve Indian Territory. The statue was created by Cherokee and Pawnee artist Daniel Horsechief and commissioned by Inter-Tribal Council of the Five Civilized Tribes. See this video
